Fayetteville replacements split two ways: correcting a builder-grade box in a newer subdivision, or fitting a modern system into an older Fayette County house. We are about 25 minutes east.
New systems for two kinds of Fayetteville house
If your house went up in a wave of south-metro building, there is a fair chance the original equipment was the cheapest box that met code the week the drywall went up. It works until it does not, and then you find out it was never sized for the rooms you actually live in or the west-facing glass that actually cooks the upstairs.
Older in-town Fayetteville is the other problem: smaller returns, line-sets that do not match a modern cabinet, electrical that was sized for the equipment of its day. We would rather find that on the quote than on install day with the ceiling open.
Either way the method is the same. Look at the house. Quote what it needs. Stay nearby when year three has a question. Twenty-five minutes from Stockbridge is not a reason to shop a company you will never see again.
